Description

The Fire Alarm Interface Card enables the selective release of reader controlled doors connected to a CASI RUSCO Micro Controller during a fire alarm condition.

The card is supplied for either eight (293-600) or sixteen (293-601) door capacity.

A terminated contact is provided for connection to a standard Micro alarm input (DI point).

For installations with multiple controllers, additional interface cards may be connected downstream using the volt free contact supplied on the board.

The Fire Alarm Interface Card may be mounted in an enclosure adjacent to the Micro Controller using the four PCB pillars and screws supplied.

This system is not intended for use as the sole means of escape in life critical situations and a physical means of door release (eg. Door handle or break glass unit) should always be provided for emergency exit.
